| I. HMS COLLEGE OF PHYSIOTHERAPY BACHELOR DEGREE IN PHYSIOTHERAPY The collage is sanctioned by the Govt. of Karnataka, Department of Medical Health. The collage is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science in Karnataka, Bangalore. The duration of this course is four years including six month internship in hospitals. ELIGIBILITY A pass in 10 + 2 or its equivalent with 50% marks in science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as one of the subjects. Apart from above qualification for eligibility, the candidates who have passed diploma course in physiotherapy are also eligible to join degree course in physiotherapy which is bridge course of one year duration. The bridge course is being approved by the rajiv gandhi university of health sciences. DIPLOMA IN PHYSIOTHERAPY (DPT) The Diploma course is recognized by board of examinations in physiotherapy and development of medical education, govt. of Karnataka. The duration of this diploma course in physiotherapy is three and half years including six months internship in hospitals. After the completion of this diploma course of one year duration. These bridge course is being approved by the rajiv Gandhi university of health science, Bangalore. ELIGIBILITY A pass in 10 + 2 or its equivalent with 40% marks in science group with physics, chemistry and biology with english as one of the subjects. |

| II. H.M.S Institute of Unani Medicine ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION TO THE COURSE No person shall be eligible for admission to BUMS Degree unless. I. He/She is a citizen of India. II. He/She has studied in one or more Government or Government recognized educational institutions in the State of Karnataka for a minimum period of five academic years at any time prior to the date of making application. Study in pre-primary class shall not be considered for this purpose. III. He/She has passed: a. The Pre-University examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as Optional or an equivalent examination where in he has studied Physics, Chemistry & Biology as Optional subjects in the 12th Standard or equivalent and Urdu studied up to Xth or equivalent. b. The B.Sc. degree examination of any University established by Law in India with - 1. Physics, Chemistry and Biology or 2. Chemistry, Botany and Zoology as optional subjects and 3. He /She has obtained not less than 50% if the marks in the Optional subjects in the qualifying Examination. IV. A person who passed the B.Sc. Degree examination with Chemistry, Botany and zoology as optional subjects shall not be eligible for admission unless He/She has also the additional Physics examination of any university or Institutions. MINIMUM AGE FOR ADMISSION He/She has attained the age of 17 years on the 31st day of December of year in which he/she seeks admission. |
